Tamaria Soana...Southern Embrace!

Hi everyone.
It is a real pleasure to welcome romance author Tamaria Soana to my Room today! She's here to tell us a bit about her newest Southern Embrace. I've had the pleasure of reading this sexy short and can tell you it's a lovely, touching story. We've all experienced grief in some way, and her character Savannah is dealing with it too.

Welcome Tamaria!
*******************************************************************

Hello, and thank you for stopping by. I’m Tamaria Soana a contemporary romance author. My stories tend to be on the steamy side and always end with a happily ever after.

You can find me here:  Site     Facebook Author Page     Twitter

Southern Embrace my newest release was a very different story line for me to tackle. The story opens with Savannah my heroine trying to pick up the pieces of the broken heart her high school sweetheart Lance left her with when his family moves away the summer after graduation and he cuts her out of his life.

With some prompting for her best friend Nikki, Van (Savannah) goes out with the girls to a club and meets the handsome older Stephan. He sweeps her off her feet and she begins to heal. The stories over and they live happily ever after right? WRONG. The story is just beginning. In chapter 1 we learn that Stephan was killed in a car accident (I hated doing that). Savannah is twenty-three and the grief consumes her. Nikki her best friends steps in once again and arranges for Lance to run into her at the mall. Will Savannah give Lance a chance to explain and let him back into her life?

Southern Embrace is an emotional story about overcoming grief, forgiveness, and second chances.

I hope you’ll fall in love with Savannah and Lance as much as I have. Southern Embrace is from Savannah’s POV. I’m currently writing Southern Desire, the story from Lance’s POV.

Can a long lost love mend a grieving heart?

Widowed at twenty-three, Savannah Grant is devastated and consumed with grief, a grief that she can't seem to move past. When her high school sweetheart, Lance Peterson, re-enters her life, Savannah struggles with the feeling that she would be betraying her deceased husband by moving on. Plus, she can't forget the way Lance broke her heart all those years ago.

Lance never stopped loving Savannah. He wants a second chance, and he's willing to do anything it takes to convince her to give him one. Will she give in and let Lance love her, showing her a passion beyond anything she thought possible?

Excerpt:

It was a beautiful Friday afternoon. Van grabbed her purse and headed out to the mall. Nikki's shower was the following weekend, and Nikki had been on her to get a new dress for days, threatening to drag her shopping kicking and screaming if she didn't go herself.

Once at the mall, Van picked up some last minute gifts for Nikki. After trying on a few dresses, she found a knee-length, strapless coral dress. She purchased it and was off in search of a pair of shoes. When she found the perfect pair of coral and silver heels, Van concluded the trip to the mall a complete success.

Her cellphone rang as she was leaving the shoe store. She dug around in her bag to find it. With her head down and her steps brisk, she ran right into someone.

"I'm so sorry. I'm such a klutz," she said as she looked up into the brown eyes of her first love. She gasped and took a step back, surveying him. His light brown hair was a little shorter and he was built like a man now, not the boy she used to know. She stood frozen in place, staring at him. This can't be happening. A tidal wave of emotions rushed through her at once. Anger, resentment, hatred, but mainly pain…so much pain.

"Van."

"Lance? Oh my God!" She took another step back. "How?"

"I-I talked to Nikki. She told me you would be here. I needed to see you. When I heard what happened…" He paused. "I knew I couldn't stay away any longer. I'm so sorry."

The more he talked, the more Van's anger flared. Who does he think he is? He left me! Turned his back on me when he cut all ties!

"What exactly are you sorry for, Lance? That my husband died or that you broke my heart all those years ago?" The words she spoke were full of acid. "You have a lot of nerve just showing up here like nothing ever happened. Go away." She turned to leave.

"Please, Van, just talk to me. Give me a chance to explain," he begged as he reached for her hand.

"Don't you dare touch me," she said through gritted teeth, yanking her hand away. "What do you want from me?" She stared at him while plotting all the ways she was going to torture Nikki for her betrayal.

She seethed as he looked around. "Calm down, Van. People are starting to stare. Please, can we go somewhere more private and talk? There is so much I need to tell you."

"What could you possibly have to say to me that would make up for what you did? I mean, I know you had to move, but you cut all ties with me. Like the three years we spent together meant nothing to you, like I meant nothing to you. Damn you, Lance, you didn't even try to make it work."

"Please, Savannah. Give me a chance to explain."

"Give me one reason why I should."

"Because I still love you. I. Never. Stopped. I cut all ties with you because I had to. Long distance relationships never work out. I was afraid you would wake up one day and resent me. Being apart from you was killing me. I thought this way we would both be able to move on. But I was wrong, I never was able to move on. I let the love I have for you consume me. I wanted to come back sooner, but then I heard you'd gotten married. When I found out what had happened, I wanted to rush here and be by your side, but I figured you would need some time."

His words shocked and confused her. After she took a few moments to process everything, she shook her head. "I can't do this." She turned and walked away, then stopped. "Go back to wherever it was you came from and leave me alone."

"I won't give up on you. I won't stop trying, and I most definitely won't ever leave you again."

"Just go away, Lance. You're good at that," she snarled before she walked away. She didn't dare turn around because looking at him as he begged her to give him a chance to explain would certainly weaken her. Van needed to focus on how she was going to kill her so-called best friend.

D.X. Luc...Hunters of Seraphim: Jadin!

It is always a real pleasure to welcome my pal D.X. Luc to my blog. This sassy lady writes sexy books based on iconic and mythological characters, and her fans are just rabid for her newest. I'm so excited she's here to share a tasty tidbit from Hunters of Seraphim : Jadin.

Read on!

Blurb:

In the year 4411, females dominate the world. Men are now the weaker sex and all roles have been reversed.
Angela is an accomplished defense attorney and has grown up in a world dominated by women but she craves something more. She secretly yearns for a strong dominant man…not a simpering wimp.
Nestled on an island far from the world Angela knows are a group of mighty male Hunters. They're strong, dominate and sexy and each Hunter is waiting for the goddess Seraphim to grant him his mate.
After waking from a drug induced sleep, Angela finds herself on this jungle island, playing a game of cat and mouse with Jadin... the sexiest man she's ever seen. He claims she's his, but she wants the right to choose. Will Angela be able to give into her hearts desires or will a lifetime of embedded teachings prevent her from having the man of her dreams?

Excerpt:

There's no way off this island, Angela.” Kefir rested on a rock, looking out to sea, a few feet from where she knelt. “You’re stuck here and the collar will keep you that way. Don't try to pass the yellow flags or you're in for a shock.”
She spied the yellow squares he mentioned and scowled. How had he gotten there so fast and why wasn’t he out of breath like she was? She had to appeal to some part of this giant’s nature. Angela tried a new angle. “Listen, you have no legal right to keep me. The dating game show’s contract I signed mentioned nothing of this and if you don’t release me, you will have to face the consequences of the Womyn’s Way!”
Kefir chuckled, the sound a rumble similar to a lion’s purr. “Your women don’t frighten me, little one.” He nodded his chin and smirked. “I wouldn’t sit on that sand for too long. Wouldn’t want the crabs to crawl into places that would be most uncomfortable.”
Then give me some damn clothes!” She bolted to her feet in outrage. How dare he? A mere man, treat her is such a disrespectful manner!
He wagged his finger at her while hopping from the boulder. “You’re not in your world any longer Angela. Here, you are the prey and if you were here for me, the only screaming to come from your lips would be the shouts of your orgasms.”
Shocked beyond belief at the audacity of the male, Angela moved to strike him. Granted, she vowed to never be the type of woman who’d use the violent form of discipline on the weaker sex, Kefir obviously needed a crash course in appropriate conduct. Rather than feel good about giving the beast a good stinging slap, she was overcome with a tingling sensation. Vibrations traveled from the collar down the length of her body and back to settle in her head. “What the—?”
A feminine voice resonated through her brain. Do not be frightened, Angela. Kefir will not harm you. He is big, but gentle. Like a teddy bear.
Teddy bear, my ass,” Kefir grumbled.
Angela ignored his sour whine and looked to the sky. “Please one woman to another, get me out of this. I swear I won’t tell a soul about this place.”
Follow Kefir. All of your questions will be answered soon.
She felt the mystery spirit depart, leaving Angela to stare at the man she was supposed to trust. On a normal day, she would’ve had nothing to fear when it came to males, but that confidence fizzled the moment Ryland spiked her water! Studying Kefir, who had started down a hidden rock path without seeing if she trailed behind, Angela ultimately had no other choice. She needed answers and a way to freedom.
Scrambling, she caught up with Kefir, his long strides equaling to two of hers. Never before had she seen a man so huge. Yes, Ryland towered over the males in their community, but this man had to be at least six foot seven.
His casual gait swayed his body, moving him along like stalking panther. The machete strapped to his back made him appear all the more deadly. Yet, he didn’t seem to regard that he took the lead. How was it he didn’t worry about her taking his weapon and using it? When he stopped and yanked the thick body of a snake from a low lying branch, breaking its neck in the process, then shoved it into a pouch—she knew the answers to all her queries about his demeanor.
Angela didn’t know how far they traveled or the direction they took. Everything looked the same. She pondered if that was a way to keep strangers from learning of the secret location she was being taken to. Feeling the beginnings of blisters forming on the bottom of her naked feet, while swatting at the bird sized mosquitoes trying to get a taste of her bare skin, Angela almost resorted to pleading for mercy. Thankfully, she saw Kefir stop at a stone wall and place his palm against the flat surface. “Lost or something?” She couldn’t help the irritation in her voice.
Unfazed by her, he titled those cocky lips into a small grin. “Or something.”
Grinding her teeth, Angela almost threw a rock at the back of his head. Until she watched as he ran his long fingers over the wall and a red engraved symbol lit up. Granite against granite scraped as a door slid open and revealed a dark cavern.
Kefir entered first, disappearing into the bleakness. When he didn’t return for her, Angela had a decision to make. Go into the unknown with a man the size of a fucking house or brave the jungle and hope for rescue. Her conclusion came in the form of a rat-sized pink slug shimmying its way along the log by her foot. “Hey there little fellow. Do you know the way out of here?” Not usually put off by a simple insect, she all but dove into the cave when the fuzzy bug lifted up on it tail and exposed an open slit mouth with rows of venom dripping serrated teeth.
She had barely made her exit. The wall closed as the hissing creature from jungle hell flew through the air to what would have probably been her throat had it not smacked the sealed stone instead. “What is this place? Big, muscled men with arrogant attitudes and killer vagina slugs! I’ve entered some kind of hell.”
Glad you finally made it in. Welcome to the meeting room.” Kefir boomed, his arms wide as he gestured the empty space.

Christy Gissendaner - One Hot Knight!

Today, I am thrilled to be hosting my good friend and awesome author Christy Gissendaner...and on her birthday yet! Happy birthday Christy! You know I wish you the very best. :)

And to make things even more special, Christy is here to tell us a bit about her hot new book, One Hot Knight. Take it away, birthday girl!

It’s My Party!

Before you get carried away with the tunes of Leslie Gore ringing in your ears, let me preface this by saying No Crying will be allowed. Today is my…ummm…thirty-somethingth birthday and also marks the first week of my latest release, One Hot Knight. So today we’re celebrating the fact that I’m another year young, and The Little Book That Could is spreading its wings.

It’s been a long journey to get here. No quips about my age either. (I’m still young at heart.)  I’m talking about my journey as a writer. From notebooks filled with the passionate yearnings of a pre-teen, to steamy novels that make even my cheeks turn crimson, I’ve spent years at this gig. It’s been a rough ride at times, but there’s truly no greater joy than having someone read your book and tell you how much they enjoyed it.

One Hot Knight is my first book with Entangled Publishing. I ventured out of my comfort zone, left the nest you could say, to bring this book to life. What started out as a romp eventually turned into something a bit more serious. Even though I probably drove my editors bananas, we finally got it out.

Today I’m giving away a special gift to one lucky commenter. All you have to do to join is comment on this blog (or any of the others scheduled for today) and be entered into a random drawing. The winner will be announced tomorrow, so check back to see if you’ve won!

For a list of the tour stop or more info on my books, please drop by http://christygissendaner.webs.com. And now, for an extra fun surprise, a teaser excerpt from my latest release. Enjoy, and happy birthday to me!

Excerpt from One Hot Knight by Christy Gissendaner, available now at Entangled Publishing, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.

She’d lost her mind.

That was the only excuse. Why in hell had she agreed to bring Yves home with her for two weeks? She didn’t even know the man. Not to mention he was cursed with some ancient voodoo that may or may not morph him back into a canine.

Oh well. It was much too late for recriminations now. A nine-hundred-year-old knight had plopped down on the couch in her living room like he owned the place.

Gripping the bathroom sink with both hands, Regina leaned forward and studied her reflection in the mirror. A towel was wrapped turban-style around her damp hair. Her face was cosmetic-free and glistening from the moisturizing, age-rejuvenating lotion she’d just rubbed on it.

Was that another laugh line?

Regina prodded the side of her eye and grimaced. In one day, she’d gained an entirely new wrinkle while a centuries-old man resided in her living room as fresh as a daisy. The world was so unfair! She was twenty-eight and perilously close to looking thirty, while Yves didn’t look a day over her own age.

Her gaze dropped to the reflection of her body in the steamed mirror. At least her body was still pretty decent. Due to the treadmill, she kept in shape as much as possible. Her breasts could be a bit perkier perhaps, but the rest of her was okay.

Why was she even studying her body? She knew what she looked like. Just because she had an attractive man in her apartment didn’t mean she needed to ogle herself.

It wasn’t like she was going to jump in bed with him. Yves was her good deed for the year. She would help him break the curse, and then he was out of there. No strings. No sad good-byes. Certainly no sex. He was too big, too bold, and too outspoken. Definitely not her type.

Who was she kidding? He was everyone’s type.

Something about the way he moved, the curious gleam in his eyes when he looked at her, the delicate way he touched her even when he was manhandling her was intriguing. She practically melted at the memory of how she’d felt pressed up against him earlier.

“Regina, get a grip. You can’t be attracted to him.” She wagged a finger at herself in the mirror.

Her reflection was no help.

“He’s just an overgrown ape of a man you can’t wait to be rid of, remember?”

This time, her reflection turned thoughtful.

“He’s a dog for goodness sakes! Literally.” The corner of her lips turned down.

The mirror was cool against her skin as she dropped her forehead against it. “Oh boy, I’m in trouble.”

Hot Summer Romance Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Hot Summer Romance Giveaway Hop! Thanks to Malia Mallory for her wonderful hostess skills!

Now as any hopper worth their salt knows, hops mean prizes! And we have some great ones here as well.

Grand Prizes - We have two grand prizes. #1 is a Kindle Fire. #2 is a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate.

I'm also doing my own book giveaway at the end of the hop. One lucky commenter will win an ecopy of my new release Selkie's Revenge! (Yes...this guy!)

Not bad, huh?

Now, this hop is full of sexy authors and sexier books. And selkies are no exception. For those of you unfamiliar with selkie mythology, selkies are seal shape shifters who are reputed to be veritable lovemaking gods. The legends say if a mortal woman is unhappy with her love life, she need only cry 7 tears into the sea to call an immortal selkie lover.

Can you imagine if you did that and my hero Mack showed up in his glory? I think I might have a conniption if it happened to me.

Selkies have some interesting tricks, aside from their sexual prowess. They can influence the weather through their emotions. For that reason, you might not want to make one mad. Of course, they're excellent swimmers. In my Orkney Selkies series, they can also drink you under the table and can discern your thoughts. So be careful while eyeing my Mack and thinking lascivious thoughts...because he can hear you! ;)

All you need to do to qualify for a copy of this book is tell me who your favorite supernatural beings are. When the hop is done, I'll draw a name to win Selkie's Revenge. Don't forget to add you email address in your comment!

Have fun on the hop and make sure you visit all the stops and comment so you can qualify for the amazing grand prizes!

You can find the participating blogs here:

Selkie's Revenge can be purchased at http://www.lsbooks.com/selkies-revenge-p813.php and you can find all my books on Amazon as well as ARE and B&N.

Happy hopping!

Blurb:

On the beaches of Orkney, Scotland, an evil entity stalks mortal women. Machar “Mack” Kirk is a selkie man with a haunted past, one that has prompted him to become a hunter. He prowls the beaches at night, his arrows aiming for the finman who took his first love.

Beth Pedersen also watches the sea. The haunted widow has suffered losses of her own, ones that have crippled her into a state of stony grief. Beth can no longer feel, can no longer see color and life. Until the day Mack Kirk saves her from a mysterious foe, flooding her world with brightness and foreign temptation.

As Mack and Beth fight their inundating passion, the finman escalates his attacks. Before long, Mack realizes he’s not just playing Good Samaritan. He wants Beth, too, and will do anything to ensure his lover isn’t taken by the finman. But can he protect his mate from a monster with no soul?

Excerpt:

As a torrent of emotion coiled up through her core, Beth kissed him. She barely understood his words, barely comprehended her own thoughts, but she knew she needed Mack’s mouth upon hers. She smashed her lips against his, and his tongue penetrated the warmth of her mouth, finding its home there. He slid his hands down her back to her bottom, and he groaned, digging into the soft flesh of her behind.

Desire and common sense raged a war inside her head. Common sense told her to pack a bag, purchase a ticket to New Smyrna, and leave Mack Kirk far behind. Desire told her to submit, and it was winning out by a mile. “I don’t know what to do. I need you to tell me what to do.”

He leaned in, smelling so sweet, like an exotic fruit she just needed to peel and gobble up. “Just let go, Beth. Just feel.”

She dared to look him in the eye. “I’m afraid to feel.”

“I know. For years I was too.” He brushed his lips against hers, and his tongue slipped out to caress between them, making her ache with such yearning. “But I’ll help you.”

Jamie and Edan arrived with beers. Edan gave Jamie a look as if knowing they’d interrupted something. “I’m heading back to the bar to try my luck with the luscious bartender.”

Jamie grimaced. “The old one with the beard?”

“Not him, you eejit,” Edan said with a grunt. “The female bartender. The one with the big…” He paused, looking at Beth. “Uh, bottle of vodka. Right, that one.” He dashed off.

Jamie winked at Beth. “I’ll get to her first.” With a smile, he was after his brother.

She leaned against Mack’s wall of a chest, wanting to lose herself in him. “Show me how to feel again.”

“With pleasure,” he growled into her ear. He nibbled her earlobe and then proceeded to slide back out of the booth.

“Where are you going?” she asked, already needy for his touch again.

“Just to the jukebox,” he replied, grinning. “You are going to dance with me. And feel.”

She watched, glued to her seat as Mack inserted a couple of coins into the jukebox and selected a song. He turned to her, his lips curled in a grin. As the first rolling guitar chords of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” washed over her, making her want to move, Mack beckoned to her with a finger.

Beth’s body moved toward him, responding like a homing pigeon diving toward its destination. He pulled her into his arms and they swayed. Beth had never danced so closely with a man to anything but a romantic ballad, but Mack wouldn’t break contact with her. He moved his hard body against hers, his hands on her hips, and his erection was a thick temptation grinding against her stomach. She had to fight the need to drop to her knees, rip down his jeans, and take his cock deep in her throat. The urge, and the depth of emotion accompanying it, made her light-headed. He turned her away from the bar area toward the nearest wall and slid his hands over the curve of her bottom. His fingers dug into her ass, and Beth had to remind herself they were in public. She wanted him to nail her right to the wall. Through the damn wall. She needed him inside her at all costs.

He felt so good.

My mate. Could it be?

He lowered his head so he could whisper against her ear. “Do you feel me, Beth? Do you feel my desire throbbing against you? My need to be joined to you again?”

The song reached its crescendo, and his hips rolled against hers in a heady foreshadowing of what he would do to her the next time they were alone. Beth closed her eyes. The way he moved was sinful. She imagined devils from the most depraved circles of hell might dance in such a fashion. All of a sudden, even her soft leggings felt tight and restrictive. She wanted them off. She wanted no barrier between their bodies. As if sensing her need, Mack reached a discreet hand toward her breast and located her distended nipple through her tunic. He tugged and she had to bite her lip not to cry out.

“Take me home, Mack,” she begged in an unfamiliar, wanton voice. “I want to feel more.”

Jennah Scott celebrates her new release, Scrap Metal!

Release day is exciting for any author, so I'm thrilled to have pub buddy Jennah Scott visit me on hers! Jennah and Alexi Raymond have a sexy new book and I know you'll want to hear all about it!

Release Day!

First, thanks to Rosanna for letting me stop by today.

Today is the release of Scrap Metal, a contemporary erotic romance I co-wrote with my really great friend and critique partner, Alexi Raymond. Release day…wow! It’s kind of like your birthday and Christmas and maybe Halloween (one of my favorite holidays) all wrapped into one. For me the adrenaline rush is indescribable.

After that initial “Yay today’s the day I get to share my baby with the world” reality sets in. I’d like to say that I am sitting back today enjoying the moment. But I’m not. Release day is when the work really starts. Everyone says writing the book is the hard part…and it is. The harder part, the side of being an author that is easy to forget, is the marketing and promotion. No one will know about Scrap Metal unless Alexi and I tell you about it.

So here I am celebrating the release, spreading the word on Twitter, Facebook, and blogs. We’ve got bookmarks and pens and whatever other swag we can come up with. I’m going to treat myself to a nice dinner with the family to celebrate.  Some time this afternoon I’ll squeeze in a few words on my current work in progress so I can have another book with another fun-filled, adrenaline laden release day!!

What about you? Do you relax on release day? Do you have a ritual?

Blurb:
A small Missouri town is the last place Angelica expected to find a man who could melt the scrap heap surrounding her heart. But find one she has. Now, if they can just put the past behind them, their love may become a beautiful work of art. Crafting Selkie's Revenge...the making of Book 2!

Doing things the second time is easier than the first, right? The second time around, your brain retains the memory of the first time and everything just flows better...right?

Not always so in writing.

When I began to glimpse the phenomenal response to The Selkie, the first in my Orkney Selkies series, I knew I had to create stories for Calan's flirty brothers. They barely appeared in the first book, and yet each reader seemed to gravitate to one brother or another, just from small mentions. I was thrilled and excited that these men elicited such responses! It became clear to me that I had to tell Machar's ("Call me Mack") story next. There was something in him that just called to me. Selkie's Revenge was born.

I began to plan the book and was immediately struck with my dilemma. Calan Kirk was a larger-than-life character in some ways. He used Orkney words and was a wonderful flirt and possessed the unique qualities that make selkies such astounding lovers. With Mack, I needed him to have some of the same traits but was desperate not to regurgitate Calan back onto the page. I needed Mack to still have that Orcadian charm, but to also be his own man.

He also needed to have a different journey to love. Calan's journey was fun and buoyant, filled with laughter and need. When I first thought of Mack's heroine Beth, it became very clear that his journey wouldn't be the same as his brother's. Oh, I've still tried to inject it with lightness, especially in shedding more light on a couple of the brothers, but Mack's tale is a darker one. He and Beth walk a more introspective road. They know grief and heartache, and need to learn to surrender to each other. For Beth, this is especially hard. Oh, we still have some smokin' sex, but this is not a couple that falls into bed immediately with each other. There are obstacles in the way.

In short, I hope all the readers who embraced Calan will also love Mack and that they will respond to his journey as well.

Selkie's Revenge will be available at www.lsbooks.com on July 15, and at all ebook outlets. In the meantime, you can add it to your TBR list at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18076055-selkie-s-revenge

Happy reading!

P.A. Lupton...paranormal author with a sexy side!

I am so pleased to be welcoming fellow Canadian author P.A. Lupton to my Room today. I became acquainted with P.A. on Goodreads and had a chance a while back to read her very exciting Bound by Blood. If you like your paranormal with a healthy dash of sexy, her books are for you. I'm still hoping she'll create a book for gorgeous Agent Morrison from Bound by Blood. Maybe if we pester her enough, he'll get his own happy ending soon!

No pressure, right, P.A.?

I'm so excited to bring these books to you today. Make sure you add them to your TBR list, or heck, pick them up today!

Blurb for Bound By Blood:

FBI agent and psychic, Brianna Reece, descends from an ancient and powerful bloodline of witches, only she doesn’t know it. But now that legacy has come back to bite her—literally.

In the shadows of night in Denver Colorado, a serial killer is hunting women, and FBI agent Brianna Reece is hunting the killer. Unlike any case she’s worked before, Brianna can’t ignore the prickling at the back of her neck when she glimpses the resemblance she shares with the victims. The investigation begins to touch even closer to home when it is revealed that all of the victims were also psychic.

Complicating matters further, Brianna is captivated by the FBI’s prime suspect Nathan Donovan. Though she senses he is hiding something from her, the attraction she feels for him is compelling, and unlike anything she’s ever experienced. Through a chance twist of fate, Nathan learns of Brianna’s ancestry and is forced to divulge secrets to Brianna that will change her life forever.

When she learns that the killer is an evil vampire, and he’s now set his sights on her, Nathan alone holds the key to awakening her dormant powers. Now he must race to teach her how to control her emergent gifts before she becomes the next victim.

Blurb for Old Souls:

Sometimes we choose love, but sometimes, fate chooses for us.

Alyssa has started a new job, and from day one, she’s been haunted by dreams of a man she’s never met but can’t seem to forget. Then Alyssa meets her boss and her world comes to a grinding halt. It’s him. But as impossible as that is, things are about to get even stranger.

Mark is a man with secrets. Plagued by guilt and regret, he has spent countless years simply existing. They say you don’t know what you have until it’s gone, and no one knows that better than him. He’s lost a piece of himself he thought he could never get back. Until the day he met Alyssa for the first time…again.

When unexplainable events occur, the two learn that some actions have consequences so severe that even a powerful love may not overcome them.
