Robin Danner...The Princes Bound!

Today is an exciting day for me!

My good friend and fellow Liquid Silver Books author Robin Danner is here! I am such a fan of this wonderful woman. She is totally committed to her craft and works incredibly hard, even with a growing family. We know how hard that can be! Robin's here to tell us a bit about her journey, and to give us a glimpse into her sexy new book The Princes Bound! The cover is just below, and I think it's beautiful!

So have a read, and make this the next book on your TBR pile today!
Welcome, Robin!

About five years ago, not long after the birth of my oldest son, I started writing a story. This one was different as it was the first I’d written since meeting my husband. I sat down to write and got about halfway through when I became pregnant with baby number 2. Baby number 3 soon followed. I had to put down my “pen” and pick up the diaper pail.

Now that my oldest son is in school and the younger boys are (for the most part) potty-trained, I decided to start writing again. I finished The Princes Bound at the end of May. The Princes Determined and The Princes Knighted followed about a month or two later. (I do things in three’s, in case you can’t tell!) And now, after a six year hiatus, I finally have a new release! The Princes Bound hit cyber shelves last Monday and I’m beside myself with excitement.

The Princes series has been a long, winding road to get back to writing. Revisions aside, I had to adjust my schedule to accommodate a full time day job, a never-ending pile of laundry, and still make time for the computer. I am not ashamed to admit that I usually wear a pair of headphones while I write…and it’s not for listening to music! That would only add to the noise level in my house. So I escaped into a world of my own imagination where princes roam free, and the ladies prove to be a fierce challenge.

The first two books tell the story of two princes and the women that love them. The third in the series branches off to include friends and family of the princes, and I’m looking forward to writing the fourth and fifth book in the coming months. So if you’re looking for a spicy romance with a dash of intrigue, please check out The Princes Bound!

Talin’s most trusted captain, Nadia d’Arcy, is ordered to abduct Mathis and bring him by force to Noventia for the wedding, a marriage that is not what it seems to be.

Mathis and Nadia’s mutual attraction tests both the captain’s loyalty to her prince and Mathis’ already worn patience. DeLeetra Staley...A Little Mini-Madness!

Hi all;

I'm very pleased today to introduce you to a hot, young author who I originally met on Goodreads. She has really impressed me with her go-get'em attitude and passion for her work. DeLeetra Staley has a hot new book entitled A Little Mini-Madness, and you need to check it out. And you can do so here...see how convenient I make things for you? :)

DeLeetra, take it away!

Bio:

DeLeetra J. Staley author of A Little Mini-Madness.  I was born and raised in the South.  I am 32 years old and my passion for reading lead to my finally writing. I have one brother, two sisters, a niece and nephew who I love so much.  My mother and father have always encouraged me to do what makes me happy.  I have a degree in biology and I work in a library on a college campus.  I have always had stories in my head just floating around and then one day a few years ago I decide to put one on paper.  I have been written my thoughts (poetry) down for years, but never a novel.  This has been the most nerve racking, wonderful, crazy experience of my life.  I am blessed beyond measure and I could not have asked for anything more then to have the novel written.  Now to have others reading my book is amazing.  I love cats and I enjoy life laughter truly is the best medicine.

1) Did you always want to be an author?  If not, what else would you have done?

No, honestly I went to college and studied biology.  I had every intention of becoming a wildlife expert with a focus in felines.  I then realized that I was not the outdoors kind of person and I am afraid of every bug there is out in the world.

2) What is the strangest job you ever had and why?

Believe it or not all of my jobs were normal I worked at a hotel, temp. agency, pharmacy, bookstore and library.  Now, I have met some strange people, but that’s a different story for another time.

3) What is your favourite book of all time and why?

I always have a hard time answering this question I have so many the list would never end.  Hahaha I could never choose this is a conversation that could go on for years.

4) Describe your ideal hero or heroine (details please! *wink wink*)

My ideal hero is sexy, dominate, an alpha male. Confident, assertive and a bit aggressive, but I have also always had a weakness for the tortured soul.  The man that has scars you can see and the ones that reach so far within him it takes all you have to reach pass them to see your mate. He should have tattoos and nipple rings, yeah, that is hot.  He is tall, strong and extremely smart.  I find intelligence sexy a great conversationalist makes my mouth water.  Any man who can tell me what he wants to do to me and how with lots of detail, wow that is a turn on.  Tell and show throw in cooking and it is a done deal.

5) If you could share a romantic evening with any character from romance literature (any genre), who would it be and what would you do to him/her (ahem! With him/her)?

I think if I could (because you know this is something every reader has thought about and planned out in their head) I would choose Savitor from Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter Series.  I would want us to go surfing, his character is a water baby loves to surf and be out in the waves.  Glad you changed “do” to “with” because I would do a lot to him “wink wink” hahaha.  I think a day of learning to surf and an evening of talking would be ideal.

6) What comes first for you: plot or character?

Character, because sometimes I don’t have a plot all I have is an image of someone in my head and then things just start to flow.  Once I have the individual male or female on paper it seems as if that person stands up off the paper and says “hey let me take you on a journey because what had happened was”.  I feel like I am told what to type or put on the paper.

7) Who is, hands down, the sexiest actor of all time?

Crap another hard question.  Okay I am going to start with Sean Connery, Vin Diesel, Michael Ealy, Jason Momoa, Dwayne Johnson, James Todd Smith (LL Cool J), Ryan Gosling..... oh wait you said one yeah I can’t answer that question with just one.

8) Describe your writing style please.

It is funny because I write like I talk which makes for a bad situation.  I am so happy I have Katie M. Whitworth to edit for me.  I think that is the only style I have other then I write what I know so maybe I don’t have a style.  I just write third person, contemporary, funny, erotic romance.  Then again I am new at this so maybe my style has not fully matured if that makes sense.

9) Who is your favorite author and why?

Favorite authors, because I have several.  The truth is to me any author who can make me have a conversation about their characters as if they are real people is my favorite.  A few are Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Ward, Kerrelyn Sparks, Johanna Lindsay, Julia Garwood, Gena Showalter and the list goes on.  The characters are real in my mind even if they are made up.

10) What is on the horizon for you? Any interesting news or books we should know about?

I am not sure I am taking it one cup at a time.  I have been blessed so far and I am just praying that the blessings continue.  I am working hard to promote my first book with the help of Katie M. Whitworth my publisher/editor (best friend and sister from another mother) and lots of friends and family.  I am currently working on two books the second book to A Little Mini-Madness (TGP series) and a paranormal book about I’asis Jade who has shoved her way into mind.  Ice is a bit aggressive and wants her story told, but she gets a bit stubborn and wants to tell it on her on time.

Thank you Rosanna for having me and have a wonderful and blessed day hope to see you soon and good luck with all your endeavors.

Blurb:

Meet Quintessa Nevaeh James. A strong, independent, take charge woman with one flaw, she has a habit of thinking out loud. Quint also has an addiction to shoes, that might be reason she has no man, she's never meet a man she loved more than her heels. Quint works for TGP(Thoroughly Groomed Personnel), one of the top temp agencies in New York. She is career oriented and thinks she only needs a man for the basics, which all revolve around the bedroom. Love is for suckers as far as Quint is concerned.

In walks Alejandro Sin'Jin Galliani, a successful businessman, in desperate need of a temporary personal assistant. With his domineering, alpha male personality Quint can tell that Alejandro is a man accustomed to getting what he wants, and he wants Quint. But this time Alejandro may have bitten off more than he can chew, while Quint is wondering if there is more to this arrangement then him needing a top notch PA?

Take everyday humor and the odd things that can happen when two people fall in love, then top it off with three nosey friends, a diva Siamese cat and a witch of a boss and A Little Mini-Madness will have you wondering why everyday isn't a shoe shopping day.

Jennifer Cooper...Entwined Past!

Hi everyone;

My new pal Jennifer Cooper is here today to tell us a little about her hot new book Entwined Past! I was drawn right away by the sexy cover and tag line on this one: "One day when we're older, I'm going to marry you."

Sigh.

Read on for a tantalizing excerpt!

Synopsis:

Kidnapped at ten years old, Mason and Rose spent six years with a man who did unmentionable things to Rose. Leaving Mason to fight for her every time he came down to retrieve Rose for a night. Mason, fought for her, comforted her, and lulled her to sleep when she couldn’t.

After coming back to the place where it all went wrong ten years later, his mission, to find Rose and get her back at his side where he felt she belonged. Upon meeting again by chance at a local coffee shop, the contact didn’t go as Mason had hoped. They both froze and memories flooded them once again of the horror that they endured with their kidnapper.

He had hoped that he could overcome the past, overcome the time that was spent away from Rose, thinking that time had been of comfort to them both when it came to their past. But it didn’t. Their past came back with a vengeance, slamming Mason back into the past in the middle of the coffee shop.

Acquiring his first teaching job at the same school that Rose worked as an assistant in the office. Back in the sight of her, he demands for him to let go of the past and help bring Rose back with him to the future that he promised her so long ago.

Rose never thought that she would ever have to live her life without the one man that she could ever love. After separated Rose lived her life day by day, missing Mason, nightmares and the guilt of her mother before she died.

When their lives crashed together once again, Rose thought that she had been transported back into the past, again that young girl once more. She ran from him in the coffee shop but couldn’t get him out of her mind after. Her past came back to the forefront of her mind, showing the hideous things the monster did to her.

She used to wonder about him during their separation but now that he was here and wanting to be with her, she didn’t know if she had anything left in her to love him with. Her heart was filled with hatred and sorrow. Her mind replaced all good things about Mason and in its place were all the bad. Nothing was left or so she thought.

 Excerpt:
Blowing the steam away as I took a careful sip of the coffee, the sound of people congregating around the small café this morning was lively, the younger crowd talking about their excursions the night before. An older couple huddled together in a booth, sipping on their coffee as they smiled at one another. I found myself yearning for that closeness that I had denied myself for so long.
I looked up from my hot coffee as I felt the hot gaze of a woman staring at me. I found myself looking into familiar piercing green eyes, our past shadowing in the background.
The woman looked down and saw that she’d dropped the coffee that she had held seconds earlier. Along with the shell-shocked look on her beautiful face, her hands shook as she bent down to the dark liquid that pooled around her boots.
A small meek young woman in the café’s uniform ran to her side in an instant, cleaning up the remains of the coffee. As the waitress fervently cleaned the spill away, she looked up and seem to see Rose looking at me once more, her eyes showing every ounce of pain that I was feeling at that moment. Rose stuttered her apologies as she flew out the door, leaving the waitress dumbfounded and me in the past again.
I set my coffee down as the past returned to the forefront of my mind, and I was once again that ten-year-old boy. My face fell into my hands as I tried shaking the painful memories from my mind. As before, once the memories came there was no stopping them. It all came screaming back to me.
I stood as the room spun out of control and I felt myself falling; there was no way of stopping it. Darkness encased me, pinning me to the floor of the café, only one person entering my mind like every time before. The smug look on his face, the dark eyes that penetrated me even from the past still had its effects on me, making me feel like that ten -year -old boy again. I screamed before I could stop the resonating sound coming from my lips.
