Help me name the next Gemini Island book!

It's not too often I ask for help, but as I embark on the next installment of the Gemini Island Shifters series, I've decided to reach out to my readers. I'd like you to help me pick the next title for book 5.

Haven't heard of the Gemini Island Shifters? Well, take a gander at these handsome dudes and their lovely mates!

Does that refresh your memory? (wink wink)

As you can see, I went with a "predator" theme and that theme will continue. We have Ryland and Soren, the bear shifters in books 1 and 2. We have Anton, the tiger in book 3, and Bart the wolf in book 4.

Book 5 will be the story of Killian Moon, jaguar shifter and teen mentor at the Ursa Fishing Lodge and Resort. The last time you saw Killian, he was the hunky blond guy putting the moves on his pal Marci. Well, I decided he needed a happy ending.

I will pair him with a human woman named Nina Suzuki. Nina has an exotic background, like many Canadians. She is part Japanese, part Trinidadian, and also has some European and aboriginal blood. Killian will not be able to resist her charms...well, once he stops disliking her, that is. You see, Nina has just been hired as the new mentor at the Ursa Lodge and her holistic approach to mentoring is somewhat different than her hero's brash physicality. Expect some major fireworks between these two.

As always, I will bring in some juicy external conflicts as well, but I won't give too much away now.

As for titles, I have it narrowed down to the following choices:

1) Predator's Moon (Catch the play on words? Killian Moon?? Wink, wink again.)
2) Predator's Need
3) Predator's Hunger

Let me know which one you prefer by leaving a comment. Share the post with your friends and let me know what they think. I am eager to hear which you prefer, and if you have a completely different suggestion, feel free to let me know as well. I can't promise any decisions just yet as the story is still evolving, but you know I'll keep you posted.

As always, I'm yours in romance,
Rosanna

  2. Although I love the Predator's Moon, it doesn't cosign the rest. My opinion. Ilike Predator's Need. It gives the same feeling of the other titles. This is my opinion.lol

  3. I would choose Predator's Moon, or a play on that so you aren't using his name per se, Predator's Eclipse.

    1. Thanks Isabelle! Whenever I start a new book, I check to make sure the title hasn't been done before, or overdone. Predator's Moon felt new to me too. :)

    1. Thank you Paula! I like those for the same reason. And thanks for the suggestion of Predator's Desire. You can count on at least 7 books in the series, total, so I'll need ideas! LOL

  7. I love the play on the name in Predator's Moon and Predator's Need works with the other titles in the series, but my favorite is Predator's Hunger - because to me it speaks volumes about Killian and what he is looking for and desires. Also - for future reference .. the title Predator's Desire sounds pretty awesome! ;)

    2. If it was Predator Moon, I'd go for that one, but Predator's Moon just doesn't seem to fit---although Predator's Desire works.

  8. Not sure about Predator's Moon, for me it would bring to mind a wolf shifter... hmmm
I like Predator's Hunger the best. Predator's Charm? as in lucky charm?

    1. I did wonder about that, seelk. And thanks for suggesting Predator's Charm. It would have to work with the storyline, which is still being established, but it's a great idea!

  9. I like Predator's Moon and Predator's Need, I'd actually thought Predator's Moon before I seen the list! I also like a couple of the suggestions others have made like Predator's Charm and Predator's Desire. I also thought of Predator's Surrender or Predator's Fall if he dislikes her at first but then falls for her charms ;-)

  11. Claim, Refuge, Serenade, Kiss - Like all of those and what they describe. Not crazy about Moon. It just sits there. The wordplay is nice, but the word itself doesn't grab me. Both NEED and HUNGER conjure up a visceral feeling... so does Surrender or Fall. Even Torment would work.

    1. Hi Claudine! Thank you! I see what you're saying. I wondered the same thing. I do like Fall and Surrender. Torment is very nice as well. We shall see what happens... ;)

    2. Out of your choices I think Hunger works best for me...But my thoughts..Predator's Quarry, Predator's Prize, Predator's Pursuit, Predator's Prey... I was trying to think Jaguar and how they function LOL...Can't wait for this one..you know I'm your #1 fan!

    3. Thank you t'irla! I like some of your choices too, especially Quarry...no Prize...no Prey. Oh, I like them all!

  15. I haven't read any of your books yet, but from the description you provided 2) Predator's Need seems to fit the book the best. Seems he needs a happy ending, most likely will need this woman, she will be something he can't get rid of in his thoughts/minds eye and so he needs her. IDK just saying.

  16. I like the play on Moon. Especially if you already know the series, you'll get it. I'll add Predator's Passion, Predator's Conquest, Predator's Chase, Predator's Eclipse (moon - get it? Huh, huh? lol), and Predator's Hunt, for sh*ts and giggles. I'm trying to find a jaguar word...T! I hope you're working on it! Bottom line is, I don't think you can lose, Rosanna, as long as the cover is hot :) We already know what's inside will be great. xxx
